Knitting Platoon Leader, Dawn Lockwood has just clocked up her 100th Mr Snuggly scarf!!!! It has been a great year for the museum and we have met over 9000 people and taken 700 on the walking tour.The museum will close for it’s winter break on November 30th at 3pm so you have just a short time to come and see us and enjoy a cuppa and slice of of wonderful home baked cakes.

Last Sunday (October 6th) the last public tour of the Thetford locations took place.46 people joined our guides for a walk around the locations in Thetford used during the filming of the series. The museum was pleased to welcome Lodges Coaches back to the museum with their wonderful 1949 bus. On board were a family celebrating a 70th birthday, a surprise party. The family had tea in Marigolds visited the statue and Jones's Van before having lunch as the Bell.
The museum team was delighted to travel up to Holt on Sunday (September 22nd) to take part in the Poppy Line 1940’s event. While we were there we were pleased to meet up again with our friends from Timescape.
The museum was host to a coach party last Wednesday (September 18th),the coach party were on a mystery tour and popped by the museum in a wonderful 1959 coach.They were met by our own man of mystery,Mick Whitman.
